Stability analysis for the Lienard equation with discontinuous coefficients

چکیده

A nonlinear mechanical system, whose dynamics is described by a vector ordinary differential equation of the Lienard type, considered. It assumed that coefficients can switch from one set constant values to another, and total number these sets is, in general, infinite. Thus, piecewise functions with infinite break points on entire time axis, are used equation. method for constructing discontinuous Lyapunov function proposed, which applied obtain sufficient conditions asymptotic stability zero equilibrium position studied. The results found generalized case nonstationary more general form. As an auxiliary result work, some methods analyzing question sign-definiteness approaches obtaining estimates algebraic expressions, represent sum power-type terms non-stationary coefficients, developed. key feature study absence assumptions about boundedness or their separateness zero. Some examples given illustrate established results.
